Who We Are

This web site is brought to you by:

Doug Beyerlein: Professional Engineer and co-owner of Clear Creek Solutions, Inc.  When not playing engineering Doug runs and writes.  Since 1982 Doug has run every distance from 100 meters (Washington State Senior Games) to 100 miles (Grand Teton 100).  His favorite distance is somewhere in between.  Doug writes about his crazy adventures in Washington Trails, Northwest Runner, Walk About, and VeloNews.  He also writes a running blog: RunWithDougBlog.wordpress.com

Joan Weisberg: Registered Nurse and health care advocate.  Joan’s real love is open water swimming and her goal is to swim the English Channel.
Nisqually: Alaskan malamute. Nisqually died in December 2012 due to bone cancer.

Tuolumne. Alaskan malamute. Tuolumne (pronounced TWO-alm-ME) was born in December 2012 and joined our family in February 2013. His parents come from Silver Ice Alaskan Malamutes of Granite Bay, CA.

Leroy and Mary Francis: the cats.  They supervise.

Lucky: poker-playing newt.  Lucky finds stairs exhausting and prefers something less vertically challenging — like casino gambling.
